Now that he had shed thirty pounds (from 22% body fat to 15%), he could run up stairs unencumbered and haul heavy bags of garden soil without becoming winded.

He was finally able to enjoy weekend bike rides with his friends and wear clothes he once fit in but had long since given up trying.

But What Comes Next? No doubt about it,” Bill answered, “I am pleased with how I look and feel.”

Just that he wanted six-pack abs.

“Oh no,” he declared with a laugh. “I don’t have to look like a cover model – but it seems I’m close enough!”

Bill was confident that with just a bit of extra work and time, his abs would begin showing and his physique would be complete.

While Anika had the opposite concern.

She just wanted to lose some weight, improve her health and get in better shape.

But she worried that to accomplish her goal she’d need to give up everything, become a “health nut”, and make significant lifestyle adjustments.

Changes that included 6 AM bootcamps, kale shakes, lemon juice cleanses and 1000 situps every day… forever.

“No way,” Anika replied in disbelief. “That would take too much work.”
