Every Friday at around 5pm as I waited for the bus home after work, my mouth would start watering with anticipation of an evening filled with red wine, pizza, chips and bad movies – my Friday ritual.
While waiting, I would call my husband and discuss our order. Does the place offer their delectable pesto sauce with goat cheese and/or extra sausages?
Friday nights were always my favorite night of the week because they allowed me to indulge in any food I desired – it was truly the highlight!
My job was intensely stressful and the commute arduous; coming home and unloading all my belongings before relaxing with some fast food and alcohol was how I unwound.
